Kyrie Irving and his peers may not be on the court, but that hasn't stopped the Brooklyn Nets star from providing an assist off the hardwood.

On his 28th birthday, Irving announced he'll be donating $323,000 to Feeding America, a hunger relief organization, amid the coronavirus pandemic. He also plans on helping distribute 250,000 meals across the New York area.

Irving encouraged those who are able to donate to the cause.

Irving averaged a career-high 27.4 points on 47.8% shooting in his first season with the Nets. However, his 2019-20 campaign was cut short due to a reoccurring shoulder injury.
