The NBA announced Friday that the Los Angeles Lakers topped the league in merchandise sales to begin the 2019-20 season, while Lakers star LeBron James possessed the top-selling jersey over the same time period.

The results are based on the NBA Store's online sales between October and December of 2019. Both the Lakers and James also ranked No. 1 in sales for the full 2018-19 campaign.
