The Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks will participate in basketball games at prisons organized by the Represent Justice Campaign, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears.

The Kings will host the first "Play For Justice" event Thursday at an undisclosed Northern California correctional facility, while the Bucks will host a prison event in Wisconsin later in December. Both teams will host an event in Milwaukee on Feb. 10.

Represent Justice's goal is to remove stigmas associated with incarcerated people.

"Sports franchises have a unique opportunity to bring about positive change, which is why in the past year, the Kings and the Bucks brought together leaders from across two cities to share best practices and find new solutions to social injustices," Kings owner Vivek Ranadive said. "This collaboration with Represent Justice is another example of how we can use our platforms for good."

The Golden State Warriors have regularly visited California's San Quentin prison since 2012, with general manager Bob Myers often playing in basketball games with inmates.
