The Cleveland Cavaliers claimed forward Alfonzo McKinnie off waivers, the team announced Monday.
McKinnie was waived by the Golden State Warriors last week.
The 27-year-old averaged 4.7 points and shot 35.6% from downtown across 72 appearances for the Warriors last season.
Cleveland's roster is now up to 14 players and the move brings the team within $1.27 million of the tax, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
