The Atlanta Hawks have been aggressively exploring the possibility of packaging the eighth and 10th overall picks to move up in the 2019 NBA Draft, a source told ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
Givony added that Atlanta's offer for the New York Knicks' No. 3 pick was apparently rebuffed, but that the New Orleans Pelicans are considering trading their No. 4 pick - which was recently acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers in the Anthony Davis trade - for the Hawks' pair of top-10 selections.
Atlanta also acquired the No. 17 pick from the Brooklyn Nets in early June. Overall, the club holds six picks in this year's draft, including three more in the second round.
The Hawks posted a 29-53 record this past season under rookie head coach Lloyd Pierce and posses a young core that features Trae Young, John Collins, and Kevin Huerter.
