Bradley Beal's future with the Washington Wizards has been a hot topic this season, as he's been frequently mentioned as a potential trade candidate.

However, Wizards owner Ted Leonsis was adamant the club wouldn't deal the two-time All-Star, and if Beal has his way, he'll remain in Washington for the duration of his career.

"I'm different than a lot of people, I hate change," Beal told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes. "I hate being different. You know, I hate all of that ... if I can, 100 percent, I'd die in that Wizards jersey. Until that day comes, I'm going to just duke it out day by day, play out my contract. If they want me, I'm staying. If they don't, it was great."

Beal said he values loyalty because it's how he was raised, and he vowed to continue giving everything to his club.

"At the end of the day, I'm here," he added. "I don't think I'm going nowhere and they've made it clear to me. And until that day that I'm moving in another jersey, I'm going to fight my tail off to get one (championship)."

The 25-year-old has spent his entire career with Washington since being drafted third overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. Beal is averaging career highs in points (25.7), boards (5.1), assists (5.4), and steals (1.4) this season.
