Steve Nash was officially inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, and among those in the crowd was his former Phoenix Suns teammate Amar'e Stoudemire.

Stoudemire told Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson of Scoop B Radio he wouldn't have missed Nash's enshrinement for the world.

"It was a special moment," the six-time All-Star big man said.

Stoudemire, who teamed up with Nash to lead the famed "seven seconds or less" offense in Phoenix, added that it took him a few seasons to realize what the team was achieving.

"My first three years, I didn't completely understand what we were doing," he said. "But we were doing something special. At the time it was happening so fast, we didn't really know exactly what was going on until year two or year three."
