Robert Williams' tenure with the Boston Celtics is off to a rough start.

Since the Celtics selected him in the first round of June's draft, the Texas A&M product missed his introductory conference call with reporters after he overslept, was absent from the team's first summer league practice after missing a flight, and misplaced his wallet - twice.

According to Tom Westerholm of MassLive, the first instance happened when Williams left his wallet at his hotel while attending a Celtics Shamrock Foundation event. Celtics staffers were able to recover the wallet, but a day later, Williams realized it was missing again. This time, it was in the possession of Texas A&M forward D.J. Hogg.

Williams was in College Station, Texas, about to board a flight back to Boston. Hogg, meanwhile, was nearly three hours away, back in Dallas.

"I was like, 'Yo bro, I can't get my wallet. D.J., send me my wallet,'" Williams said.

However, Williams said Hogg told him it would be too expensive to have the wallet shipped overnight.

"I was like 'Bro, you have money bro,'" Williams said. "But he just brought it out here (to Las Vegas)."

Williams is now working on solutions to ensure he doesn't lose his wallet again.

"I got to start gluing it to my phone or something," he said.
