Live by the three, die by the three.

The Houston Rockets missed 27 straight 3-pointers against the Golden State Warriors to set a playoff record for most consecutive misses from deep during a 101-92 loss in Game 7.

Their streak of futility was mercifully snapped when P.J. Tucker canned a corner trey after the Rockets had fallen into a double-digit deficit. They finished the game shooting 7-of-44 from three, with Eric Gordon, James Harden, and Trevor Ariza combining for 30 misses.

Houston was dominant early on, winning loose balls and raining triples with ease, but it appeared to run out of gas in the second half, as evidenced by its abysmal jump-shooting numbers. The Warriors erased an 11-point halftime deficit in the third quarter with a 33-15 run, then proceeded to dominate the fourth to clinch their fourth run to The Finals.
