The Sacramento Kings announced a new security plan for Thursday's game against the Indiana Pacers, bringing in a "significant police presence" around Golden 1 Center to ensure fan safety and to allow them to enter the arena after protests blocked the entrances twice this week.

The Kings' arena was locked down twice in the past seven days when hundreds of protesters blocked the entrances in protest of the fatal police shooting of Stephon Clark, who was killed March 18 in his grandparents' backyard.

During Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics, both teams lent their voices to protesters in a PSA that aired in the first quarter, demanding accountability from the Sacramento police for their involvement in Clark's death.

Stevante Clark, Stephon's brother, has called on those protesting his sibling's death to refrain from demonstrating outside the Kings arena again.
