Klay Thompson eyeing Finals sweep: 'We want to finish it here'
They say there's nothing like winning it all in front of your home crowd.
Klay Thompson isn't interested in that, though. He'd rather get this over with as soon as possible.
Up 3-0 in the NBA Finals over the Cleveland Cavaliers, Thompson is looking to take care of business Friday in Game 4 at Quicken Loans Arena.
"We don't want to go back to the Bay and win," he told reporters postgame, as quoted by ESPN's Baxter Holmes. "We want to finish it here."
Thompson had 30 points on 61.1 percent shooting to go along with six rebounds and two dimes in Wednesday's 118-113 come-from-behind victory.
The win saw Golden State extend its playoff winning streak to an unprecedented 15-0. Thompson's hoping his club can push it to 16 to capture its second championship in three years.
