Watch: Valanciunas, Monroe get heated after hard foul

The two giants in the Toronto Raptors-Milwaukee Bucks series appeared ready to throw down Monday in Game 5 at Air Canada Centre.

After blocking Greg Monroe on one end, Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas was fouled hard by guard Khris Middleton on the other while going up for a layup through the lane.

Middleton wrenched Valanciunas' shoulder hard on the play, with Monroe stepping in after Valanciunas looked like he was about to get in his teammate's face.

Members of both rosters eventually intervened to separate the heated parties.

Both Valanciunas and Monroe were assessed technical fouls for their brief altercation.
