The NBA was getting up to date with its fine-levying on Friday. Shortly after dinging Russell Westbrook $15,000 for swearing, the league fined Washington Wizards swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. $25,000 for kicking a ball into the stands during the team's 109-101 Game 2 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
The NBA has handed down such a fine before, hitting Paul George with a $15,000 penalty for kicking a ball into the spectator area earlier this season.
Oubre scored one point off the bench in the game, with the Wizards taking a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 goes Saturday in Atlanta.
