Embiid files for 'The Process' trademark to sell apparel, Shirley Temples
GQMagazine / Twitter
After adopting "The Process" as his nickname last month, Joel Embiid is now looking to capitalize on his brand.
Jim Adair of Crossing Broad discovered that Embiid, through his agency CAA Sports, has filed a trademark on "The Process" for goods and services, including "apparel, namely, shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, sweatpants, hats, flip flops."
The flip flops are interesting, but it gets even better. Embiid also submitted a second filing that lists the following goods and services: "Rubber bracelets; Children's books; Non-alcoholic beverages, namely, pre-bottled Shirley Temple drinks."
That's right - "The Process"-branded Shirley Temples could be coming to a store near you in the future. Get excited.
