Different team, same results for journeyman Matt Barnes.
Barnes, now a small forward for the Sacramento Kings, was fined $15,000 by the league for directing inappropriate language at officials in his team's loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday.
Tensions ran high during that game after DeMarcus Cousins picked up six fouls in the fourth quarter in a game that the Heat eventually won in overtime.
Getting fined, of course, is nothing new for Barnes. This latest deduction brings his career total to $200,000 as he pads his lead as the NBA's most fined player since the start of the 2012-13 season.
Most recently, Barnes was docked $35,000 in January for directing inappropriate comments towards ex-New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher as part of a well-publicized domestic dispute.
