In the immortal words of LeBron James, "Cleveland, this is for you."
After 47 seasons in existence, the Cleveland Cavaliers will finally raise a championship banner in honor of last season's euphoric title run.
Cavaliers team owner Dan Gilbert tweeted out a sneak peek of the banner Sunday:
Here it is, @cavs fans. The 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers Championship banner! Next stop: the rafters at @TheQArena! pic.twitter.com/s1N6cu0tJY

Unfortunately, the team neglected to go the petty route and left out that the Golden State Warriors squandered a 3-1 lead. Still, few in Northeast Ohio will ever forget that bit of trivia.
The championship ceremony will be held Oct. 25 when the Cavs kick off the season while playing host to the New York Knicks.
