Larson finished second in the South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday night.
Analysis:Larson would start inside the Top 10 and race inside the Top 10 much of the night in Las Vegas. However, a long early-race pit stop and handling issues would plague the Hendrick Motorsports star's night. Larson would battle through to race among the leaders in the closing laps. He would brush the wall a couple times in the last couple laps trying to run down race leader, Chase Briscoe, but would still fall short for the impressive runner-up finish.
