Buescher finished ninth in Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway.
Analysis:
Buescher ran well in the first stage, but an issue with a hood pin would lead to him stopping twice at the stage break, which mired him back in the pack. He was able to use pit strategy later on to get track position again, though, and he would parlay that into a ninth-place finish. Next for the Cup Series is a trip to Pocono Raceway, where Buescher finished fourth last season. it was his first Top-10 at the track since 2020.
