Blaney finished eighth in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway.
Analysis:
The No. 12 team led the third-most laps of any driver on Sunday, but Blaney would have to settle for an eighth-place finish after a four-tire stop late put him back in traffic. Blaney would also spin Chase Elliott coming to the checkered flag, triggering a post-finish crash that collected points leader Tyler Reddick. The Cup Series is now off to Michigan, where Blaney won in 2021. Last season, he led seven laps, but finished 32nd.
