The Nevada Athletic Commission said Wednesday it suspended UFC welterweight Niko Price for six months after he tested positive for marijuana, according to MMA Junkie's Nolan King.

The result of Price's Sept. 19 fight against Donald Cerrone has been overturned from a majority draw to a no-contest. The 31-year-old also received an $8,500 fine.

Price's suspension is retroactive to the date of the fight, meaning he'll be eligible to return to the Octagon on March 19.

This is the second time Price has faced disciplinary action for a positive marijuana test.

He failed an in-competition drug test in relation to his 2017 bout against Alex Morono. As a result, Price received a 90-day suspension and a $1,000 fine from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Additionally, his knockout win over Morono was overturned to a no-contest.
