The UFC is finalizing a fight between Cris Cyborg and former Invicta FC champion Felicia Spencer for the co-main event of UFC 240, UFC president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Cyborg has one fight remaining on her current contract with the promotion.

Spencer called out the former featherweight queen after her impressive first-round win over fellow former Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson at UFC on ESPN+ 10.

Cyborg quickly accepted the challenge on Twitter, citing her desire to get back into the Octagon after fighting just once since a win over Yana Kunitskaya in March 2018.

The Brazilian's been on the sidelines since losing her title to bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in December, her first defeat since her MMA debut in 2005.
