Anyone hoping to fool the scale in the future may want to avoid using this move.
Bellator 180 preliminary card fighter Sergio da Silva thought he had it all figured out at Friday's weigh-ins, attempting to trick officials by delicately balancing on one foot as they tried to check his poundage. Amazingly, they were not bamboozled and they repeatedly asked him to stand properly.
Considering that Da Silva ended up coming in seven pounds overweight, he probably could have chopped off one of his feet and it still wouldn't have helped.
