Billed as one of the main attractions for a WrestleMania 32 card that set a new WWE record with over 100,000 in attendance, the Dean Ambrose-Brock Lesnar No Holds Barred Street Fight was ultimately one of the event's low points.
The bout at AT&T Stadium in April barely got half the time as the other two main events, with "The Beast Incarnate" and "The Lunatic Fringe" struggling to use what time they did have to create a memorable encounter at the biggest show in company history.
During an appearance on "The Stone Cold Podcast" with Hall of Famer Steve Austin on Monday, Ambrose expressed his disappointment with the brawl and said Lesnar wasn't interested in making it special.

"I felt like I was pulling teeth to turn that match into something epic and so forth," said Ambrose, who currently holds the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. "Artistically, Brock didn't want to do anything ... to be perfectly honest. Brock's gonna Brock. He's all about Brock."
Ambrose added, "I had a vision for that match to be the craziest thing imaginable, you know what I mean? And I was trying to pitch everything to everybody and had every idea. I put so much effort in and so much work in, and other people did too. I was met with laziness."
In the weeks leading up the pay-per-view, Ambrose teased that he was going to utilize barbaric weaponry to overcome Lesnar, including a barbed-wire baseball bat.
That didn't happen, though - Ambrose was essentially restricted to using steel chairs, with Lesnar delivering his F5 finisher to his opponent on a pile of chairs set up in the middle of the squared circle to seal his victory.
The two will both be in action at SummerSlam on Aug. 21 at the Barclays Center. Lesnar will go one-on-one with "The Viper" Randy Orton, while Ambrose will put his title on the line against Dolph Ziggler.
