Major League Soccer announced the roster for the 2017 MLS Homegrown Game on Wednesday, revealing the 18-man squad that will face the Under-20 team of Mexican outfit Chivas de Guadalajara on Aug. 1 at Toyota Park.
Vancouver Whitecaps phenom Alphonso Davies and Atlanta United's young U.S. star Andrew Carleton highlight the list of young players from across the United States and Canada who have signed for clubs on Homegrown Player contracts. The roster also includes FC Dallas shot-stopper Jesse Gonzalez, Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad, New York Red Bulls midfielder Tyler Adams, and Toronto FC striker Jordan Hamilton.
