Cubs go bald in support of pediatric cancer research

Some Chicago Cubs players might begin sporting caps a little more often than usual for the next little while.

On Saturday, the club held its second annual "Respect Bald" event, a bash organized by skipper Joe Maddon in which a number of players had their heads shaved in support of pediatric cancer research.

It's another upbeat event in an incredibly odd month for the Cubs, who have also seen clowns and retro vans show up to spring training in the past week alone.
