No more pies to the face from Adam Jones.
Jones had to give the bad news to Baltimore Orioles' fans Saturday; news that was so terrible he had to first tease it on Twitter:
I might have some TERRIBLE news for O's fans 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖😖

Jones, a prankster who made pies to the face a regular Orioles' postgame tradition over the past few seasons, will no longer be allowed to deliver the baked goods to teammates' kissers because of safety concerns.
No more pies can be delivered to the faces of O's players. But @dangerouspies can we still work together.

It's no ones fault. It's just about safety. At the end of the day it can be dangerous so we're being smart.

Jones surprised a number of people with tasty treats to the face in the past, including slugger Chris Davis, Astros mascot Orbit, and even a collection of Orioles fans, but he shied away from delivering one to normally serious skipper Buck Showalter in April.
