VIDEO: KC fans chant 'Just like baseball' after Chiefs embarrass Texans
Too soon, Kansas City.
Fresh off their team's first playoff win in 22 years, fans of the Kansas City Chiefs rubbed salt in the wounds of the Houston Texans, who suffered a demoralizing 30-0 loss nearly three months to the day the Royals stunned the Astros in Game 4 of the ALDS to force a deciding game in the series.
The Royals went on to win Game 5 in Kansas City, and the rest is history. And if Houston fans somehow forgot, they were reminded with chants of "Just like baseball" to close out Saturday's wild-card win.
Bolstered by a little Missouri-sport synergy, Saturday's blowout victory in Houston marked the Chiefs' ninth straight win since the Royals defeated the New York Mets on Nov. 1 for the city's first World Series in 30 years. It was also the first playoff game in Houston since the Astros choked away a 6-5 lead in the ninth inning of Game 4.
Looks like we may have left good playoff karma in Houston. Way to go, @Chiefs! 👊

The Chiefs will look to carry their momentum into next week's division-round matchup in Foxborough against the New England Patriots.
