PHOTO: Giants reveal Samardzija's terrifying shark emoji

When you're good enough to sign a five-year, $90-million contract, it naturally follows that you're also a big enough deal for your own emoji.

That's what the San Francisco Giants have done with their newest arm in Jeff Samardzija, who they announced will be officially unveiled Saturday in a Twitter post complete with an accurate emoji for someone nicknamed "The Shark."

Samardzija is expected to provide some bite to a rotation that ranked ninth last season with a 3.72 ERA.
