PHOTO: Cubs' Maddon wears catcher's mask in media scrum

Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon brought a little added protection during his pregame press conference on Friday.

After two reporters got into an argument earlier in the day during an interview with Cubs general manager Jed Hoyer, Maddon walked into the room donning a catcher's mask.

"I heard things got a little testy today," Maddon told reporters.
