The St. Louis Cardinals are promoting Rob Cerfolio to general manager, a source told Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Cerfolio, 34, will reportedly move up from assistant GM to serve under president of baseball operations Chaim Bloom.
A formal announcement is expected Friday, according to Goold.
St. Louis hired Cerfolio away from the Cleveland Guardians in October 2024.
Cerfolio played college baseball at Yale University.
