The Baltimore Orioles are open for business this offseason.

The Orioles will be active on the trade market in hopes of improving their rotation and outfield, sources told The Baltimore Banner's Andy Kostka.

Baltimore is reportedly willing to listen on every player except star first baseman Pete Alonso. The 31-year-old led the AL in homers (43) and RBIs (113) in his first season with the team.

A trade involving star shortstop Gunnar Henderson is unlikely and would require a big return coming back to the Orioles, sources told Kostka. However, the club is reportedly keeping all options open.

The Orioles' current rotation projects to include Kyle Bradish, Shane Baz, Brandon Young, Cade Povich, and Trey Gibson. The outfield would have Dylan Beavers, Blaze Alexander, and Colton Cowser starting.

Baltimore missed the playoffs for a second straight year after back-to-back postseason trips in 2023 and 2024. The club looked poised for a long run of success after winning the AL East four years ago, but its young core and blue-chip prospects have yet to live up to expectations.

The Orioles hired Jared Banner as their new general manager in October. He's working under president of baseball operations Mike Elias.
