The Atlanta Braves exercised options for star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. and second baseman Ozzie Albies for the 2027 season, the club announced Thursday.

Acuña will make $17 million next season. The 2023 NL MVP has one more $17-million club option for 2028 before he can potentially test free agency.

Meanwhile, Albies will earn $7 million next year. Like Acuña, the three-time All-Star has one more 2028 club option remaining, but for $7 million.

Acuña went deep 20 times with 55 RBIs, 21 stolen bases, and a .796 OPS over 107 games for the NL East champions. The 28-year-old dealt with injuries again, as he's logged just 251 contests over the last three years.

Albies, 29, hit 22 homers with 73 RBIs and a .685 OPS across 162 games.
