Benches cleared between the Cleveland Guardians and Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday as the grounds crew at Progressive Field rolled out the tarp for a rain delay.
Cleveland's players and coaching staff appeared to be upset with D-Backs outfielder Tim Tawa, who tried to lay down a bunt in the sixth inning while Guardians starter Gavin Williams was pitching a perfect game.

Guardians catcher Patrick Bailey seemed to have words for Tawa after the bunt went out of play. Tawa then broke up Williams' perfecto bid one pitch later with a single to right field.
Moments later, Guardians shortstop Brayan Rocchio appeared to take exception with Tawa's hard slide into second base during a fielder's choice.
The game went into a rain delay two batters after Tawa's hit. Vogt stormed out of his dugout and was visibly upset with the D-Backs, causing the benches to empty.
The scrum was broken up by the grounds crew attempting to cover home plate with the tarp.
This is the second time this season an opposing team has tried to bunt against Williams during a perfect-game bid. The same thing happened July 9 against the Minnesota Twins.
The Guardians defeated the D-Backs 5-0 after play resumed.
