Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow exited with pain in his lower back after one inning in Wednesday's start against the Houston Astros.
Glasnow motioned to a trainer following a warm-up pitch before leaving.

Glasnow's early departure comes after he recorded his 1,000th career strikeout in the first inning.
The 32-year-old was scratched from a start last September due to a similar issue, but he managed to pitch the rest of the month. He also spent three weeks on the injured list in 2024 due to back tightness.
Glasnow has never logged more than 134 innings (22 starts) in a single season over his 11-year career due to multiple ailments. The 2024 All-Star owns a 2.72 ERA with 0.83 WHIP and 49 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings (seven starts) this year.
