The Milwaukee Brewers and shortstop Cooper Pratt are finalizing an eight-year, $50.75-million contract extension with two club options, according Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Pratt's options will be worth $15 million per season, reports Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
The 21-year-old prospect has appeared in just three Triple-A games and has never played in the majors.
Pratt hit eight homers with 62 RBIs, 31 stolen bases, and a .691 OPS over 120 contests in Double-A during the 2025 campaign. He's the No. 4-ranked prospect in the Brewers' minor-league system, according to MLB Pipeline.
Milwaukee selected Pratt in the sixth round of the 2023 draft.
