Judge hasn't played in the outfield since July 25 after suffering a flexor strain in his right elbow.
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said he won't initially have Judge playing outfield every day, adding the team captain will share reps with Giancarlo Stanton, according to ESPN's Jorge Castillo.
Stanton has recorded minus-5 defensive runs saved in 109 innings in the outfield this season, while Judge has two defensive runs saved in 692 1/3 outfield frames.
