Detroit Tigers left-hander Tarik Skubal and Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Paul Skenes will start opposite each other in Tuesday's All-Star Game in Atlanta.
Skenes will start for the NL in back-to-back years. He pitched a scoreless frame in last season's event.

Skenes is the first pitcher and one of just five players to start in the MLB All-Star Game in each of his first two big-league seasons.
Skubal starts the event for the first time in his career after pitching the second inning in last season's game.
Skubal owns a 10-3 record with a 2.23 ERA and 153 strikeouts in 121 innings, while Skenes owns an MLB-best 2.01 ERA in 20 starts.
