Texas Rangers left-hander Brock Burke was placed on the 15-day injured list with a fractured right hand after he punched a wall, the team announced Saturday.
Burke sustained the injury Friday following a relief outing in which he allowed four earned runs on three hits over 2/3 innings against the Houston Astros. The Rangers still won the game 12-8.
Texas called up right-hander Austin Pruitt to replace Burke on the active roster.
