Girardi rejoins YES Network as Yankees analyst

Joe Girardi is back in the Bronx.
The former New York Yankees manager and player has been hired by the YES Network as an analyst for the 2024 season, the regional sports network announced Friday.
Girardi will also still work as an analyst for Chicago Cubs games on the Marquee Sports Network.
The 59-year-old managed the Yankees to their last World Series title in 2009. He also won three championships with the team as a catcher.
Girardi originally became a broadcaster with the YES Network in 2004 before a long stint as the Yankees' skipper between 2008 and 2017. He also managed the Philadelphia Phillies from 2020-22.
