It took Luis Arraez all of 12 games in a Miami Marlins uniform to make franchise history.
Arraez became the first Marlin to hit for the cycle Tuesday, completing the feat with an eighth-inning single against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

The Marlins, playing their 4,700th game in franchise history Tuesday, had been the only remaining active franchise not to have a player hit for the cycle.
Arraez began his cycle with a second-inning double, then added a triple in the sixth and homered in the seventh.

Miami acquired Arraez, last year's AL batting champion, from the Minnesota Twins in February for pitcher Pablo Lopez. The 26-year-old's clearly taken a liking to his new home, as he's hitting .537/.596/.732 with five extra-base hits and six walks this season.
