Gast (back) has yet to throw and will likely be sidelined for another four weeks, with it taking as long as six weeks before he attempts to throw, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Gast hasn't pitched since he left a start on May 25 with tightness in his shoulder. It appears a back strain will keep him on the disabled list until August.
