Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was removed from Game 4 of the National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday with a hamstring injury.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said postgame that early evaluations show a Grade 2 strain, and Turner's season is likely over, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register.
Turner will be replaced on the roster with a position player before Thursday's Game 5, Roberts added, per Blake Harris of True Blue LA.
The 36-year-old limped off the field after grounding into a double play during the seventh inning.

Turner was in so much pain that teammate Albert Pujols had to assist him down the dugout stairs toward the clubhouse.

Turner, a two-time All-Star, struggled to a .118/.211/.206 slash line this postseason. He did not start Game 2 of the NLCS because of a neck strain.
Chris Taylor shifted over from center field to replace Turner at third base.
