Luis Urias made sure this was an extra special day at the ballpark.
The Milwaukee Brewers infielder exploded at the plate Thursday at Wrigley Field, tying a major-league record with five extra-base hits in his team's 17-4 pounding of the Chicago Cubs.
Urias doubled in three of his first four at-bats, then launched homers in the seventh and ninth to enter the record books.

Urias is the 16th player and first Brewer to record five extra-base hits in a game, according to Baseball Almanac. He's the second player to do it at Wrigley Field, following the Cardinals' Matt Carpenter in 2018.
"This one was the best game of my life hitting-wise," Urias said postgame, per Bally Sports Wisconsin.
All told, Urias went 5-for-6 with five RBIs and a Brewers-record five runs scored. His 14 total bases came in one shy of the franchise mark, according to Stathead.
The 24-year-old is hitting .249/.342/.453 with 16 homers and 55 RBIs this season.
