Braves bring back Greene on 1-year deal

The Atlanta Braves and free-agent reliever Shane Greene agreed to a one-year deal, the club announced Sunday.
Greene will report to Triple-A Gwinnett. The 32-year-old's contract is prorated, so he'll make roughly $1.2 million this season, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
The right-hander posted a 3.27 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over 55 appearances with the Braves in 2019 and 2020 after a trade from the Detroit Tigers.
Atlanta's bullpen has accrued the 17th-most fWAR this season.
