The Miami Marlins agreed to a one-year, $5M contract with free-agent outfielder Adam Duvall, a source told Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

Duvall is projected to start alongside Starling Marte and Corey Dickerson in the Marlins' outfield. Garrett Cooper is also expected to be in the mix.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have approached the Marlins about acquiring Cooper in a trade, sources told Craig Mish of MLB Network.

Duvall, 32, is coming off a strong year with the Atlanta Braves. He hit 16 home runs and posted a .833 OPS over 57 games in 2020.
