Replay saved the Chicago White Sox and Eloy Jimenez from a possible costly error late in a tense game against the Minnesota Twins.

In the ninth inning of Monday's game, Jimenez appeared to gift the Twins a run by muffing a fly ball off the bat of Byron Buxton. The ball then appeared to get wedged underneath the fence, so Jimenez raised his arms to signal a dead ball ... only to see Buxton race around for an inside-the-park home run when umpires kept the play live.

Ultimately, a replay review determined that the ball was lodged under the fence. Buxton's run was taken off the board and he was placed at second. White Sox closer Alex Colome then locked up the save with a strikeout, giving the South Siders a 3-1 victory - their fifth straight win - and lowering their magic number to four.
