Thor is bringing his hammer into his fight with his landlord.
New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard responded to a lawsuit brought against him for allegedly missing rent payments in a Twitter rant Saturday. The right-hander claimed his landlord is extorting him and wrote that he's prepared to fight the suit in court.

Syndergaard's landlord filed the suit Friday, alleging the pitcher didn't pay rent on his $27,000-a-month Manhattan penthouse. Syndergaard received a notice on April 17 informing him he had defaulted on the lease, though he claims he gave sufficient notice.
The landlord has apparently been unable to re-rent the unit and is seeking the full value of the eight-month lease - $250,000 - in his suit, according to court documents.
Syndergaard, 27, underwent Tommy John surgery in March and will miss the entire 2020 season.
