The list of teams expressing interest in free-agent third baseman Anthony Rendon continues to grow.

The Los Angeles Angels are among the clubs looking at the 29-year-old, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman. Rendon has already held reported meetings with both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers.

Rendon is coming off a third straight season in which he accrued more than six WAR (according to FanGraphs), as well as a third-place finish in National League MVP voting and a World Series championship with the Washington Nationals.

The seven-year veteran had a career year at the plate, hitting .319/.412/.598 with 34 home runs, 44 doubles, and 126 RBIs. He was also a Gold Glove finalist among NL third basemen.

Rendon's agent, Scott Boras, is reportedly seeking a seven-year deal for his client.

The Angels employ Zack Cozart - who signed a three-year deal before the 2018 season - at the hot corner, but he's been limited to 96 games over the past two seasons due to injuries.
