Well, here's something you don't see every day.
On Friday, Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen purposely balked in the ninth inning so Chicago Cubs baserunner Jason Heyward couldn't read signs from second base during Victor Caratini's at-bat.
Jansen can be seen telling his teammates he was going to balk on purpose.
The move paid off. Jansen wound up striking out Caratini to end the game for his 20th save of the season in a 5-3 win for the Dodgers.
