Someone on the White House staff has some explaining to do.
With the Boston Red Sox scheduled to visit President Donald Trump on Thursday to celebrate their 2018 World Series win, the White House's official website posted a message in the morning welcoming the "Boston Red Socks" to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora and several players from the World Series-winning club have already confirmed they won't visit the White House on Thursday due to issues with the Trump administration.
The event listing was fixed later that morning.
